Stephen Acosta, an Associate, Interior Designer and project manager with SCI design group, believes in a collaborative design approach that involves not only the team work of his colleagues but also that of his clients. Stephen also enjoys the relationships that are formed while working on a project and reflects that positive energy back into his work. He is most often influenced by contemporary design that incorporates clean lines, strong interior architectural elements and sustainable materials. Environmentally conscious, Stephen likes to design with green friendly, sustainable products whenever he can. Most of all, Stephen is known for his professionalism and good humored nature.

Stephen’s design experience includes concept design development, finish materials selection and detailing, furniture selection, space planning, graphic design, finish and furniture specifications, construction documents and construction administration.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Interior Designers Institute.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family and friends, home improvement projects, cooking and being outdoors, either hiking or kayaking.
